Nigerian Documentary

I’ve been on hiatus for a while working on a few independent projects, and seeking distribution for them film I directed in Minnesota.  Over the last couple weeks I’ve also been planning for my trip to Nigeria at the end of this month, which I am patiently awaiting.  I have been convinced to be the best man in an uncles wedding, I’ve also got some business to take care of while I am abroad.

The newest project I have embarked on is an as of yet untitled documentary about life in America as a Nigerian immigrant.  This documentary seeks to shine the light on a few exceptional individuals from Nigeria and tell us about how they’ve adjusted to life in the US.  We are touching on family life, religion, education, and politics, as well as a host of other topics.  Below are some photos from day one of the shoot in Dallas, we have a few more cities to hit as well as a few more people to interview.  I look forward to where this journey will take me and hope it sheds light on the misunderstood and under appreciated people of Nigeria.

You can pre-order advanced copies of the DVD, as soon as post production is finished they will be mailed out.
